2:3 And wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine!” 2: 4 And Jesus said to her, “What, woman? My hour has not yet come.”
2: 5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do!”

In prayer with Yeshua, looking for insight on the question “My hour has not yet come”
The answer came quite clearly. ( in my inner voice)
What I heard was “It was my Mother’s faith”
This picture came to mind:

Sometime’s we all need a little help getting started.
It is amazing how 5 divine words received from The Holy Spirit can get the mind going.
Let’s review a little
Our Lord Yeshua had been to the river Jordan and John the Baptist had proclaimed him as the messiah (The Christ).
Next Lord Yeshua wanders off to undergo temptations of Satan.
When returning he joins up with John and his brother James. Mary invites him and his two disiples to Cana for a wedding feast.
It’s important to consider: Lord Yeshua has possibly not yet performed a miracle or used his supernatural powers.
There is more than one version possible for the words “it was my Mothers faith”.
- Could simply mean that Mary’s faith in God allowed the water to be turned into wine.
- Could be that Mary’s faith in who her Son was and his power allowed her the conviction to overturn the hesitation of Yeshua and jump start his ministry with this first miracle.
The one thing that is clear: Mary, the Mother of Yeshua was truly a strong part of starting her Son’s ministry.
Mary and Joseph were also people close to God. They had experienced supernatural phenomenon.
If Mary and Joseph were not good “listeners”, Yeshua would not have arrived. The conception, marriage, trip to Egypt and return all point to the importance of listening.
Listening to Gods Holy Spirit. oh how important. We all need to work on our skills of becoming good listeners.
